RJ Diaz and Industry Portage Co. are committed to supporting the local, national and global community. Our program, based on the 1/1/1 model, donates 1% of our time, 1% of our product, and 1% of our revenue to causes and efforts important to us. These causes and efforts include childhood play and education, arts and design communities, and protection of the environment.
In 2012, our 1/1/1 program included the creation and maintenance of our community's Green Team website, donation of bag designs to NYWAL, and monetary donations to Room To Read, Vittana as well as Hurricane Sandy recovery and rebuilding efforts.
So far this year, we have raised over $1,000 for charity:water and continue our advocacy for the environment through the pro bono administration of the community Green Team website as well as donation of products to our local PTA for fundraising efforts.
Sea Shepherd's Mission Statement
Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.

The first inaugural “Break the Silence” Gala will take place on November 16, 2013 hosted by Jillian Loyden, professional soccer player and member of the U.S. Women’s National Team and SkyBlue FC. This star-studded “purple” carpet event provides an opportunity for its participants and sponsors to receive local, statewide, and national exposure for not only their companies and organizations but for victims of domestic violence and specifically Jill Loyden’s sister Britton Loyden who lost her life in February of 2012 as a victim of domestic violence. In addition to honoring Britton and raising awareness the Gala will also raise funds for her 3 year old son Madden Armani. All proceeds from the benefit will go towards The Joyful Heart Foundation, The Jillian Loyden Foundation and Madden Armani. The Joyful Heart Foundation was established by Mariska Hargitay, and works to foster a community that turns toward the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Industry Portage is proud to be a supporting sponsor of this year's gala.
